Munduk: waterfall heaven / 3 DAYS
Let’s go chase waterfalls like no other, as Munduk is an amazing place to do that! It’s best to rent a scooter as Grab & Gojek aren’t very common in the area. Alternatively, hire a driver for the day, you can ask your hotel to arrange this for you.
Waterfalls you can’t miss:
- Banyumala Twin Waterfalls
- Gitgit Waterfall
- Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall
- Sekumpul Waterfall
- Fiji Waterfall

You can also visit a hidden water temple in the area: Pura Ulun Danu, located next to Tamblingan Lake. Try to go during sunrise for misty & magical surroundings.
…
Best stay in the area: Alta Vista Mountain Villa. This place offers a heated pool & jacuzzi, which is an absolute treat because North Bali is a lot colder than you might expect.

Welcome to Bali’s quiet side: Sidemen. Enjoy the nature surroundings, visit the neighbouring rice fields and swim at Gembleng waterfall.

Sidemen is an excellent place to have an out of this world accommodation experience: stay in a luxury hotel or sleep in a bamboo hut! Add these 2 places to your bucket list:

Nusa islands: iconic beaches & relax time / 4 DAYS
Head to Sanur and hop onto a ferry to Nusa Penida. This island has many iconic spots, such as: T-Rex at Kelingking beach, Diamond beach, Angel’s Billabong & Thousand Islands Viewpoint. Note that it is a very touristic island as the beaches here are some of the best I’ve ever seen!
…
I recommend to stay at least 2 full days. Rent a scooter or hire a driver to explore the island.
Bonus: spend an evening at the bar/restaurant Amarta Penida. These vibes are the best and you can spot Mount Agung from here.
…
Hop onto another ferry and in less than 30 minutes you’ll reach the island of Nusa Lembongan with its connected island Nusa Ceningan.
Places to visit:
- Blue Lagoon (Nusa Ceningan)
- Yellow Bridge
- Devil’s Tear (perfect for sunset)
- Seaweed farms (very cool place to fly the drone)
- Pasir Beach
- The Deck Lembongan
- Sandy Bay Beach Club

Back to Bali mainland / 1 DAY
Head back to Bali mainland to catch your flight. Book at least one night on the mainland just in case your ferry back gets cancelled due to bad weather. Sanur, Nusa Dua or Uluwatu (side of Jimbaran) are relatively close to the airport.
