La Rambla is the most famous street in Barcelona. This long promenade (1,3 kilometres) starts at Plaça Catalunya and ends by the seaside. Along the way, you’ll find many (local) shops, different food spots and sights such as the Columbus Monument and the Liceu Theater.
Even though this street gets very crowed during mid-day, it’s definitely worth walking it! Also: be aware of pickpocketing.
